Family Photo Session in Las Vegas

This was a very fun photo session to do! Roxanna, the mother, had heard about me through her friend that I had done a photo session for in the past. She contacted me and asked for a family photo session in Las Vegas. Of course, I was delighted and we quickly set up a date. We settled on April 30th, 2017.

The Location

Roxanna and I brainstormed the best location possible for this photo shoot. It was really exciting to come up with the perfect location together. In the end, we both decided that Floyd Lamb Park would be best. This is because it is absolutely beautiful, with tons of natural scenery and backdrops. There are many trees and animals such as ducks. The photo shoot occurred on a bright and sunny day, which was perfect. You can see the sun glistening and shining through the trees in many of the photos.

About the Shoot

Roxanna and her husband have two lovely children. A young baby son, and an older daughter. Thus, we took a variety of family photos to make sure everyone was included! I loved this family photo session in Las Vegas because the Sigala family was so easygoing and fun to work with. Their kids are absolutely adorable. They all listened and cooperated wonderfully. Also, everyone wore the perfect outfit. Roxanna and her daughter wore gorgeous blouses with jeans that were amazing for this shoot, and her husband’s outfit was great too.

It was a day full of smiles and laughter. So, this Las Vegas Family Photo Session was definitely a huge success! A gorgeous location full of natural light and beauty, a warm and sunny day, and of course, a friendly and beautiful family to work with. I know the Sigala family will cherish these photos for life.

Family Photography in Las Vegas: The Pena Family

It’s always nice to work with repeat clients. This was a fun photo shoot to do because I had already worked with Karen in the past. Moreover, I knew that Karen Pena has a beautiful family, and she contacted me after I did her sister family session. For this Family photo shoot, she wanted to have a natural location. Therefore, Karen wanted her session to be at the Spring Preserve. As a matter of fact, Karen couldn’t have chosen a better location. I’ve done a lot of Family Photography in Las Vegas, therefore, I know that shooting there is always beautiful.

This is because the location is gorgeous, full of lush greenery and natural light. There were a variety of different areas to take photos in, a lovely pathway, and also many benches. There were also many backgrounds to choose from such as trees or rocks. Overall, it was a beautiful location. We scheduled the family photo shoot for April 23rd, 2017.

Candid Family Photography in Las Vegas

I loved working with Karen and her family because they are so friendly and kind. It was very important for Karen to have this photo shoot be as natural as possible. Therefore, this meant that she wanted me to capture her family in a candid way, which was easy to do. Hence, the photos really show how they are in their everyday life. Having fun, laughing, and enjoying their time together – of course, this is exactly how it should be! Furthermore, these types of photo shoots are always fun to do. Karen and her family were so cooperative, and their son is absolutely adorable. Moreover, I am sure that they will look back on these photos in a few years and treasure these moments. Kids can grow up so quickly.

Family photography is so important and will be treasured for life. It’s always nice to have a set of beautiful photos for the entire family to look back on, whether it be in 2, 5, 10, or 30 years. So, thanks to the Pena Family for a wonderful photo shoot!

Bobby’s Senior Pictures in Las Vegas

Senior year is such an important time for students. It’s a vital year that can determine their future, in terms of what schools and programs they get into. For many students, after their senior year, they leave their hometowns and travel to various states to pursue their desired career paths. For this photo shoot, I had the pleasure of taking Senior Pictures in Las Vegas for Bobby. We scheduled the shoot for April 22nd, 2017, at two different locations. Firstly, we took photos at his high school, Ed W. Clark High School. After that, we went to Fremont Street Las Vegas, NV. This street features some incredible street art that makes great photo backgrounds.

About Bobby

Bobby is a senior in the Mathematics, Science, Arts and Technology program at Clark High School in Las Vegas. During his years at Clark, he was a very active student. He participated in varsity football, baseball, and track. In addition to all that, Bobby was also a part of DECA, Key Club, and Student Council! Bobby also served as Junior Class Student Council Treasurer. He has accomplished so much and it’s amazing to see a student so involved.

For the Senior Pictures in Las Vegas, Bobby wore the perfect outfits. For some of the photos, he had a sports sweater on and held a football as a prop which symbolized his involvement with sports at Clark. Next year Bobby will be studying mechanical engineering at the University of Southern California! Bobby had a sweater from USC which he also wore for some of the photos. Overall, all of the senior photos of Bobby turned out great. Hopefully, he can look back at these photos in a few years and be reminded of his years at Clark. Senior photos are a great way to preserve high school memories. In the future, they’re also great to look back at how much you have grown over the years.

Las Vegas Maternity Photography – Casey and Jose

Las Vegas Maternity Photography

Maternity is such an amazing thing. Therefore, having the opportunity to do some Las Vegas Maternity Photography is always incredible. Especially when it was with the wonderful couple Casey and Jose. They met in such a unique way. Casey went to Costa Rica to study abroad in 2008, and Jose was standing outside the airport with her name on a sign. Thus, he was the very first person that Casey met in Costa Rica. They got along so well together. Therefore, within a few weeks, they were dating. After living in Costa Rica for two years, Jose decided to come to Las Vegas. The couple got married in 2011, and have been enjoying their marriage ever since.

The Pregnancy

One thing on Casey’s “things to do before having a baby” list was to travel to Europe. Last year, they made this dream come true! So, Casey and Jose traveled to England, Spain, and Italy. Then, another dream of theirs came true. In March, Casey discovered she was expecting by simply taking pregnancy test she bought at the dollar store. Instead of showing Jose the results of the pregnancy test, Casey had another plan of how to tell Jose.

The Las Vegas Maternity Photography Shoot

Casey was so creative with the process. Therefore, she decided that she wanted Jose to find out they were expecting through a maternity photography shoot! She contacted me and explained her plan, and two days before the shoot she gave me two chalkboards. Then, on March 19th, 2017, at Exploration Peak Park, we had the photo shoot. In order to keep it a surprise, Casey told Jose that she won a photo session on the radio.

After taking a few shots, I mentioned that I brought a few props (the chalkboards that Casey had given me). So, I asked if the couple wanted to use them. They eagerly said yes. Then, I asked them each to write down 3 things that they loved about each other. In order to follow the plan, Jose went first. He wrote “smile, kind, selfless.” Casey went next, and she wrote “Va a ser papá,” which is Spanish for “you’re going to be a dad!” Jose was so shocked and happy! The couple is looking forward to this new adventure and I am so grateful that Casey reached out to me to be her Las Vegas Maternity Photographer.

Wedding Photography in Las Vegas – Eddy and Yesenia

Wedding Photography in Las Vegas is always so fun to shoot, especially with a couple as sweet as Eddy and Yesenia. Their wedding took place on March 18th, 2017. I was lucky enough to photograph two events for them. We did the bridal party pictures at the Smith Center, and the wedding reception took place at the Conference Center of Las Vegas. The decorations at the wedding were beautiful. The event planner was Lush Event Productions,  and they couldn’t have done a better job. All of the floral decorations were done by Mylofleur Floral. The cake was delicious, it was a gourmet wedding cake baked by Las Vegas Custom Cakes.

About The Couple

Eddy and Yesenia first met in their dance studio. Yesenia had been attending the studio for three years when Eddy came in. After they went on their first date together, they knew they had something special. The sweet couple has been together since May 22nd, 2016. The proposal was very romantic. It was close to New Years, and Eddy said he wanted to have a family activity with everyone skating at the Cosmopolitan Casino. Yesenia thought nothing of it.

They skated a bit while waiting for everyone to arrive (even though Yesenia wasn’t a great skater). Shortly after, Eddy’s brother yelled something to Yesenia. He said: “hey Yesenia, when are you getting married?” She turned and replied, “I don’t know, ask Eddy!” When Yesenia went to point to Eddy, she found him on the floor on the ice on one knee, with a ring out. Eddy proposed to Yesenia right then and there, and of course, she said yes. As they hugged, Eddy turned Yesenia around so she could face all her friends and family who had been hiding until that moment. It was such a romantic and fun proposal for Eddy and Yesenia.

Overall, everyone I met at the wedding was extremely nice. I had so much fun working with this couple. They even surprised everyone with a dance! These are the type of people that make Wedding Photography in Las Vegas so heartwarming to do.

Family Pictures in Las Vegas: Cindy & Mark Wedding Anniversary

Family Pictures in Las Vegas

On April 22nd, 2017, Cindy and Mark celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They are a beautiful and compassionate couple with two lovely daughters, Alexis and Shaina. Their beloved daughters wanted to give their parents a special gift. So, they contacted me to arrange a family photo session. It had been a long time since the last time they did one. Of course, I loved the idea of this gift and we quickly arranged the date to take some Family Pictures in Las Vegas. The location we chose was The Smith Center, on Symphony Park Avenue in Las Vegas.

About The Shoot

Alexis and Shaina couldn’t have chosen a better gift for their parent’s wedding anniversary. Everyone was super excited about it! It was a very fun photoshoot with lots of laughs. I always love when people are comfortable and laugh during photo shoots because it makes for some outstanding photos. The family was very easy to work with. This was a unique photo shoot to do. This is because the daughters brought their partners! Therefore, it wasn’t just Cindy and Mark who got photos – Alexis and Shaina got photos with their significant others as well.

I took a variety of photos, some just of Cindy and her daughters, some of Cindy and Mark alone, and of course some with the entire family (both with and without the daughter’s partners). It was really so much fun. In the end, everyone loved the photos! I have a great feeling that I will be working with this family again soon and taking more Family Pictures in Las Vegas for them.

The Las Vegas Family Pictures I take always turn out great. I owe this entirely to the cooperative and fun families that I work with! Without their enthusiasm and excitement, the photos just wouldn’t be the same. Everyone at this shoot was very excited and happy to be there. This definitely shines through in the photos.

On February 9th, 2017, I had the honor of being a Las Vegas Birthday Photographer for Andrew Wesley. He had his 70th birthday party at the Main Street Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. All of Andrew’s family and friends came to his party from different places in the United States. Since it was such a huge gathering, the event was very emotional. There were a few dozen people at the birthday party. Every single person came with their beautiful smiles and plenty of love and birthday wishes for Andrew.

Memory Making at the Birthday Party

The night was full of laughter, love, good food and drinks, and memory making. My favorite part was when Andrew told everyone that when he will be very old and can barely move, the only thing he wants to remember is dancing with his beautiful wife. Being a Birthday Photographer in Las Vegas is so rewarding because of experiences like this. Andrew will not only have memories of himself dancing with his beloved wife but he now also has meaningful photos of him doing exactly that. Even just from looking at the photos you can see that the bond between Andrew and his wife is so strong.

This birthday party was really important for Andrew and all his family and friends that attended. The older you get, the more you realize just how truly important your family and friends are. When everyone is scattered in different areas all over the country, it’s so nice to have just one day where everyone comes together and is reunited. Overall, it was so amazing being a Las Vegas Birthday Photographer for Andrew. I really enjoyed photographing him and his wonderful friends and his family. I hope Andrew remembers this party for many years to come!

On February 23rd, 2017, I had the honor of being a Las Vegas Portrait Photographer for a beautiful family. We all gathered at Spring Mountain Ranch, in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. This was a gorgeous spot to take some memorable photos. Family Photography is so important.

The family I was photographing came to Las Vegas to visit their son. They wanted to do a large family photography session since they were all together. This photo session was very funny to do because it was such a windy day. Despite the weather, the family was extremely cooperative, fun, and easy to work with. Being a Las Vegas Portrait Photographer and taking a photo of 13 people at a time (that’s how big the family was!) can be challenging to some. However, it was such a rewarding experience for me. This family was laughing the entire session, and it was a wonderful time overall. The portraits turned out fantastic, and the family now has memorable photos to look back on as the years go on.

The Importance of Family Photography

Family portraits are very important for parents, grandparents, and children alike. Time can pass so quickly. Before you know it, your kids have grown up and they are starting lives of their own. As you get older, you will want to remember what you and your kids looked like when you were all younger. Portrait Photography is so important, and the photos only get more valuable with time. Family photos can be hung around the house or put into photo albums to provide you with memories.

Photos don’t only act as memory holders, they are time capsules as well. They show you how much you, your parents, and your kids have changed and grown up. You might not notice small changes in children or yourself every day, but once you look back at old family portraits, you will be amazed at how much change has occurred.

On March 19th, 2017, I had the pleasure of being a Bar Mitzvah Party Photographer for the Hafter family. The celebration took place at the Waffle Bar in Tivoli Village, Las Vegas. This was actually my third time working with this incredible family.

About the Bar Mitzvah

Since I was photographing the Hafter family in the past, they knew I was already familiar with them so it made their choice to select me as Judah’s Bar Mitzvah Party Photographer easier. This time, I had the opportunity to photograph Judah’s Bar Mitzvah Party. This was such a fun day, everyone was smiling and having a good time. People enjoyed pizza and other delicious foods. There was even a live band playing that Judah and his family love. The band is called Sofar Sounds, and they were amazing. Sofar Sounds really took the atmosphere of the celebration to another level.

Importance of Having a Bar Mitzvah Party Photographer

Bar/Bat Mitzvahs aren’t just a one-time thing. They are a special celebration that everyone in the family loves to relive in the future. These Bar Mitzvah/Bat Mitzvah parties are the perfect balance of honoring tradition and embracing celebration. When people look at photos taken from their Mitzvah 10, or 20 years down the road, they will be able to relive the celebration. They will remember all of the laughing, the memories, and the love from all of their friends and family who were there. They will be able to see what they looked like at that age, and what their family and friends looked like as well.

Bar Mitzvah Photography in Las Vegas is popular for a reason, and that reason is because people want to look back on their special day, or their child’s special day, and remember it. The celebration can pass by so quickly, and before you know it, it’s over! Therefore, photography is so important. It ensures that no matter how quickly the day went by, you will always have a source of permanent memories.
